ODIN LEATHER GOODS
visual identity + Social Content
Odin Leather Goods is a Texas brand that holds a passion in their work as genuine as their products. What started as a hobby eventually became a true goods service that has reached customers all over the nation. Each timeless piece they create by hand is designed to withstand any journey embarked on by its owner.
my ROLE: Creative Director / Photographer / Art Director
I wanted to clean up OLG's logo for a more simplified and minimalistic feel. I also created a color palette that stayed true to the environment that Odin works within. Choosing a typeface profile to maintain a consistentency with the brand identity was key and also creating some new packaging that held personality. I believe contrasting the clean packaging and logo with the hand made products gave a brand identity to Odin Leather Goods that stood out from their competitors.
A color to represent iron and silver found in the tools that are used to create the leather goods.
ODIN TAN HIDE
A unique orange/tan color that was collected from various cuts of leather.
Shades of blue to replicate denim
and the complimentary color of dark navy to leather tones.
A dark brown to showcase tones of darker leather and wood.
Collected from tones of off-white cloth, bleached burlap, and balsa colored wood to compliment the leather goods.
Avenir Light Body
I wanted to stay as close as I could to the originally set color palette. Shades of brown for wood and leather, different shades of blue for the look of denim, the glow of orange to give that work lamp atmosphere, and hints of gray/pearl to correlate with the tools and cloth. I also created a brand film to better help tell Odin's story. All of the content created was utilized on social media.
